My passion for designing spaces actually came about by accident. Whenever I would move and decorate a home, friends, family and coworkers would ask if I had hired an interior designer. An emphatic “No” was always my response. I am surprised that they see beauty in an effort that I’m bless to find that is second nature for me. I just enjoy decorating spaces – making them uniquely personal and comfortable. Your home should be your comfort zone – a place where once you are there, you feel totally relaxed and at peace…an escape from all of the daily stress we experience.
So as I began to receive education and training in the interior design industry, I learned about staging – another service that I could offer while I built by interior design knowledge. I received my Certified Staging Professional (CSP) certification and formed Fatabulous Interiors in 2017.
So as I staged homes for realtors, investors, and builders for 6 years, as well as offering design services for clients, I experienced the best of both worlds. I think that designing for STRs integrates elements of staging and designing. You want to create an aesthetically appealing place for your visitors, whether they are staying at your home for a vacation getaway, business or a personal matter.
So what can I offer you as your designer for your vacation rental? as your STR designer, I’ll be committed to looking out for your best interest – liability, profitability and also for your visitors – to work my hardest to ensure that they enjoy their visit by feeling at home, enjoying their surroundings and wanting to return, as well as refer others.
